MERRY CHRISTMAS

All the planning, baking and visiting with family is over. We had a wonderful Christmas this year celebrating with the Taylor and the Madora families. Best of all, I am enjoying the kids being home from school and all of us spending time together.
Merry Christmas and Happy New year to everyone!

Seasons Greetings!

School is out!! Let the fun begin! We took Emily and her friends to see the zoo lights on Friday night. We walked the entire zoo and it was worth it. The lights were beautiful this year.
Scott and I got a chance to get all dressed up on Saturday night and attend my company's Christmas party. No kids, open bar, and we had a blast!
Sunday came the first snowfall of the season. We got maybe 2-3 inches. Emily didn't care because she was determined to get outside and have some fun. She begged, and begged, and finally Michael went out with her.
Seasons greetings!

Granville Christian Academy's Christmas Program

Tonight was Emily's Christmas program at her school. She had a few speaking parts along with a solo. She looked so pretty tonight thanks to Sissy who took the time to curl her hair. Aubree loved all of the kids singing and dancing. Scott, Michael and Scottie all asked me why she is sitting in between the boys? Umm....maybe because she looks so darn cute all dressed up!

Finally, we got to enjoy Scottie's Christmas concert at school last night!!

Marching Band concert

Last night the Granville Marching band performed their annual year end concert. They performed all of their songs from the season. All of the seniors were recognized for their accomplishments. Mr. Krumm explained that the band has been in need of new members. Scottie recruited 3 new tuba players in the past year and trained them for the marching band. Mr. Krumm was delighted, however, the music department spent their entire budget on new tubas totaling $12,000.00! Way to go Scottie!! You know how to wipe out an entire budget in no time!
